FFT Usage and Driving Tips

People ask the logical question, “What can I expect when I use FFT?”

The first thing most people see is an improvement in the way the engine runs. They will usually see this in 15 to 20 miles of driving.

People say that the engine sounds much quieter, much smoother and has more pep, as if they had just paid for a very needed, new tune-up. Driving, using FFT, is a little different, but you’ll learn to get up to speed and then lightly ease up on the gas pedal, and ever so lightly touch it again to continue to drive. What you’ll feel is that you do have more power.

Most people are used to driving automatic transmissions that sometimes shift down when extra pressure is applied to the accelerator. With FFT, this changes. Due to the new action of our catalyst, there is more energy available to the engine. It means you won’t be pressing as heavily on the gas pedal as before. One truck driver told us he now takes the same hill in high gear, he used to need to shift down twice in order to make it before.

The Most Effective Ways to Save Fuel That No One Ever Tells You

by Frank Norman, CEO of Future Fuel Technologies, Inc, Chemist, Inventor, USA Patent Holder, Previously Employed As A Consultant to Chemical and Oil Companies.

1. First look for your “check engine” light or the MIL (malfunction indicator lamp). If this light is on; stop everything and fix your problem. This means that your engine will NOT operate at its best until the problem is repaired and the code cleared.

Important Tip for this-go to AutoZone or other parts stores that will lend you a code reader and help you understand the problem and get the parts to fix the problem. If you are not at all inclined to do this, then take your vehicle to a garage or a dealer for the work.

2. Tires, TIRES TIRES. Check the inflation recommendation posted on your car – this is usually found on a door frame or a gas flap. Check tire when they are cold – fill to recommended max.

3. Gasoline – check your manual or gas flap for the recommended fuel. If regular is specified then use it. Premium fuel is a waste of money if your vehicle does not require premium. This is instant saving to you of 20 to 40 cents a gallon.

4. Find your air filter and change it now. A plugged or dirty filter will destroy your

mileage.

5. Change your oil to the latest grades – they are formulated for ‘energy saving’. Check and top off all your other lubricants. Consider upgrading to synthetic lubricants. The additional cost and longer drain cycle usually comes back to you in fuel savings and an easier starting engine on freezing mornings.

7. Important incidentals to know: Cruise control – If you have it use it. Cruise control will give you even speed control and this saves you fuel. Air conditioning – turn it off if you don’t need it. Clean up – Empty your vehicle of unneeded items – a lighter vehicle gets better mileage.

8. Drive as if you had an egg between your foot and the gas pedal. For practical purposes, accelerate to your highway speed then take your foot OFF the pedal for a moment and then touch it ONLY as lightly as you have to maintain your speed. Your savings using this technique can be dramatic. Using FFT Fuel-Saver at every fill-up and this technique will give you even more dramatic savings!!

9. Remote car starters-a very heavy fuel wasting trade-off for a warm car. Give your motor a few moments to build oil pressure (industry sources say 30 seconds is plenty) and then leave. Your motor will warm to operating temperature more quickly and you will save fuel wasted to warm the car. Idling in your driveway always give you zero miles per gallon and just drinks up your fuel.

10. Car pool and combine trips – you reduce the miles driven and use less fuel. It is a socially responsible act to help conserve precious petroleum-based fuels.

11. Anticipate stops, coast for a longer time then brake. You save the brake linings and some fuel using this process to safely stop your vehicle.

12. When in traffic and not moving, shut down for what appears to be a 30 seconds or longer wait. Turning your motor off and restarting when you need to move is a fuel saver and does not harm the engine.

13. Teach everyone in your family – particularly young or new drivers these effective ways to conserve fuel and treat your car better so it will run better as well as last longer.
